Function
The Infrastructure & Technology Solution Architect delivers solution architectures within scope of the technology architecture of ABN AMRO Clearing Bank. The architect oversees the complete technology landscape and ensures a well-integrated global platform and technology. The Infrastructure & Technology Architect will deliver solutions, consultancy, architecture, and process enablement activities, working closely with other departments to ensure the implementation of optimal IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver Solution Intents and govern implementation of IT architecture solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
– Provide platform engineering consultancy to internal teams, ensuring best practices and optimal use of technology.
-Enable and streamline processes within CoE Architecture to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges.
-Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level
– You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the IT Infrastructure and Technology domain, within a comparably complex environment (high stakes, in- & external stakeholders, complex IT environment, different time zones and diverse cultures).
– You have experience with IT architecture and can think on a conceptual level.
– You have strategic and analytical skills and the ability to understand, inspire and activate others.
In more detail:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on platform engineering, architecture, and process enablement.
-Knowledge and experience in one or more of the areas below is considered a plus:
-Knowledge of the different aspects of IT architecture (technology architecture; application platforms, data structures and interaction patterns, data security aspects);
-Experience with Cloud Platform Architecture (AWS is a plus).
-Containerized, serverless, and cloud-native applications.
-Scalable, high-performance enterprise products.
-Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CDK / Ansible.
-Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Gitlab pipelines, code scanning).
-Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge and experience in architecture implementations and related methods and tools, such as TOGAF and Archimate.
-Self-starter who readily assumes responsibility. Creative mindset and capable of assessing and evaluating risks.
-Fluent in speaking and writing business English (leading language);
