At ABN AMRO Core Transactions, we are looking for an enthusiastic Mobile QA Engineer who is passionate about quality, stability, and seamless mobile experiences in payments. Our systems are a key part of the stability of the bank. Your responsibilities:
– Define and execute test strategies for mobile payment journeys and related backend flows
– Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for mobile applications
– Validate app behaviour across devices, operating systems, and release cycles
– Ensure quality is built in from the start (“shift left”)
– Monitor quality metrics and contribute to improving test processes and tooling
– Help teams comply with regulatory, security, and audit requirements
Requirements
– 5+ years of experience in IT, with strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum / DevOps ways of working
– Solid experience as a Mobile QA Engineer,
– Hands-on experience with testing native and/or hybrid mobile applications
– Experience with one or more modern test automation frameworks for mobile testing such as Espresso and XCUITest
– Experience with testing in a CI/CD environment
– Affinity with backend systems, APIs, and complex data flows
– Experience with data manipulation tools such as Proxyman and Charles
– Experience with API mocking tools such as Postman and WireMock
– Knowledge of accessibility testing for mobile apps is preferred
– Experience with cloud and DevOps tooling such as Azure DevOps is a strong plus
– Strong analytical skills and a quality-first mindset
– Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
