Assignment context and description of activities
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team on a temporary basis until the end of the year, working at Tikkie. If you identify primarily as a backend engineer but enjoy collaborating across the stack, this role is very much for you. You’ll work in a domain centred around deals and recycling, building scalable, event‑driven solutions that directly support high‑impact, real‑world use cases. The work is hands‑on and technical, with plenty of ownership and space to influence architecture and implementation choices.
What you’ll be working with: AWS Serverless, with a strong emphasis on Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS and SQS Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK TypeScript across services and tooling Designing and maintaining reliable, scalable backend services in a distributed environment
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
– Senior‑level experience in backend or fullstack engineering, with clear backend depth
– Solid understanding of event‑driven and serverless architectures on AWS
– Experience writing production‑grade TypeScript
– A pragmatic engineer who values clean design, maintainability and collaboration
– Comfortable joining an existing team and delivering value quickly
This is an impactful, temporary assignment in a mature product environment, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex backend problems while contributing to a meaningful and sustainability‑focused domain
