Requirements
~10 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on designing and delivering production-grade data platforms
Expert in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines using PySpark, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing, including python script development, job orchestration, and cluster optimization
Strong advocate of software engineering best practices, including code linting, formatting, and type hinting to ensure maintainable and high-quality codebases
Proficient in implementing automated testing frameworks, particularly using pytest
Proven experience contributing to and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, enabling robust and repeatable deployments
Solid experience with Azure Data
Factory for orchestration of complex data workflows and integration across systems
Experience mentoring and guiding junior and medior data engineers, supporting their technical growth and promoting best practices
Strong advocate of pull request (PR) reviews, ensuring code quality, knowledge sharing, and adherence to engineering standards
Ability to drive technical decisions, improve data engineering standards, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
