Are you an experienced (Senior) IT-Architect who is, amongst other skills, high in technical platform knowledge and an excellent inspirator? For our on premisses hosting platform we are looking for an expert on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). You must be a senior resource in designing and integrating VCF based platforms, network, storage, compute and its integration. You must be an expert in Network and Integration from NSX-T to CISCO ACI and WMware based network constructs (FW/LB/etc) is a big plus. You must be able to share this knowledge with the other team members so we can create a more T-shape Agile team, thus helping ABN AMRO a step forward in new technologies. Looking at the challenges ahead, experience with designing DR capabilities across data centres is highly appreciated.

As an Architect you:
– Write and deliver in time lines tareg state designs
– Assist with integrate the VCF based platforms, network, storage, and compute.
– Share your expertise in Network and Integration from NSX-T to CISCO ACI and WMware based network constructs (FW/LB/etc)
Requirements
– You must have knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)., VCF based platforms, network, storage and compute.
– You must be an expert in Network and Integration from NSX-T to CISCO ACI and WMware based network constructs (FW/LB/etc) .
– You must feel comfortable in a corporate environment with lots of different stakeholders.
As IT-architect you’ll be part of the Architecture & Platform Strategy department with around 40 other Platform (IT) Architects. A&PS is responsible for the overall design and architecture of ABN AMRO’s IT-Platforms.
