Function
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated API Specialist to join us.
Our team that delivers Service Management APIs as a key part of IT Service Automation Platform, allows stakeholders to consume Service Management and CMS (CMDB) data in an intuitive, controlled, and compliant way. As a part of this team, you will play a crucial role in implementing, optimizing and maintaining APIs. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our platform’s efficiency, scalability, and overall performance.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of API development and integration and strong background in implementing & managing ITIL processes, including incident, problem, change, and release management. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, test and maintain Service Management APIs for seamless integration with external systems.
– Make sure APIs are secure, scalable, and well-documented.
– Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs with various systems and applications.
– Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
– Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery of services.
– Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
– Perform operational shift duties and resolve incidents to ensure continuous service availability.
Requirements
– Strong knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and integration patterns;
– Expertise in Azure Platforms on services like API management, container apps, app configuration or Azure functions;
– Experience with Azure DevOps deployment pipelines (YAML) and Infrastructure-as-code solutions like ARM or Bicep templates;
– Technical knowledge on Azure networking components, including VNETs, subnets, and private endpoints;
– Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or JavaScript;
– Proven experience in Service Management principles and practices;
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
– Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
