Android Developer

Within Customer Insights & Hyperpersonalisation, our mission is to create engaging, relevant, and personalized experiences for millions of ABN AMRO customers through the mobile banking app. As an Android Developer, you play a key role in shaping the customer journey by delivering innovative features that help users manage their finances more effectively and intuitively.

Working in an interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing customer-facing features within the ABN AMRO app. You will contribute to the full product lifecycle, from ideation and refinement to implementation, testing, and continuous improvement. You are encouraged to explore new technologies and development practices that improve both the customer experience and engineering excellence.

You will also actively participate in guild activities, collaborating with fellow engineers to share knowledge, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

You will be working on:
  •  Designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing Android features used by millions of ABN AMRO customers
  •  Enhancing user journeys by delivering hyper-personalized experiences and relevant insights
  •  Improving existing functionality, including modernization efforts, accessibility enhancements, and technical optimizations
  •  Collaborating closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Business Developers, and fellow engineers to define and deliver new features
  •  Contributing to high-quality software through testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices
