For the IT Infrastructure Services team of ABNAMRO Clearing we are looking for a passionate IT professional to join our Infra IT Control team as Capability Owner Demand & Capacity Management.
Our team deliver Public and private Cloud, datacenter hosting services, Middleware, Database services, Networks, end user devices and outsourced services like the Servicedesk and Operations Control.
Function
- Act as the major point of contact with regards to Demand & Capacity management and System- and Batch Monitoring for all internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for Strategic alignment, Resource mgt, Service Delivery, Innovation & adaptibility, Governance & compliance, Performance measurement and Risk Mgt of demand & capacit mgt
- Establish and maintain the applicable IT Controls specifically for Demand & Capacity Management, System- and Batch monitoring, within the broader overall IT Control framework.
- Developing standards, processes and procedures and initiate and monitor compliancy towards these standards and demonstrate control,
- Executing control monitoring and performing gap analysis to determine the actions required to get or stay in control,
- Establish KPI/ KRI’s and ensure reporting on the performance of the Demand & Capacity capability and provide management information on these subjects
- Starting up and leading projects and initiatives to improve the capability
- Make sure sufficient resourcing is in place within the capability to fulfill the responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for optimization of Cost and Capacity
- Close engagement with the Product and Platform Grid blocks to ensure there is a clear understanding and requirements of their demands
- Ability to build strong relationships with managed service providers

- Up to date IT Control, process and procedures on Capacity management and System Monitoring
- Reporting on the new controls
- Quarterly Control checks, and Remediation of findings
- Governance and frequent stakeholder alignment
- Frequent presentations and reports for Risk committees, C-level (IT-MT),
Requirements
Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level
- IT or Business education on HBO or university level
- Experienced writer and presenter.
- Experienced in working on IT Infra Compliancy, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with technical side demand & capacity mgt and system Monitoring, demonstrable knowledge of tooling in this domain.
- Clear understanding and proven experience of core infrastructure environment eg..storage, networks, database etc.
