Organization
Take ownership of operational tasks and reduce dependency on existing engineers.
Debug and resolve production issues quickly, minimizing downtime and impact.
Enhance stability across Azure, Databricks, and Airflow environments.
Improve ETL processes for efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and incident/change management.
With the following results (SMART)
Improves environment stability, measured by a 20% reduction in pipeline failures and SLA adherence ≥ 95% within 90 days.
Participates in incident/change management and RCAs reducing the number of incidents by 30%
Function
Development skills:
At least 7 years of experience working with Azure.
Exceptional experience with Python, Pyspark and willingness to learn other programming languages
Experience with Databricks, Azure Devops.
Exceptional experience with Airflow.
Ops skills:
Knowledge of change and incident management for e.g. in Servicenow.
Soft skills:
English proficiency
Working experience with Scrum/Agile principles
Good communicator.
