Cyber criminals are getting smarter and smarter. Can you keep our data safe? The need for information security is growing in a fast pace, especially within the banking sector, where there is much to be gained for cyber attackers. For this reason we are constantly looking for smarter ways to make Clearing banking as safe as possible. The Information Security Officer within our organization are the expert IT security advisors. As a security expert you analyze threat intel and perform a risk assessment on IT systems where those threats are relevant. You understand the Cyber Threat Landscape and have experience with interpreting threat intel.
You will be part of a larger team. In addition to threat intel based security risk assessment you will support application owners with their control self-attestation.
Work in the global security team of ABN AMRO Clearing bank. ABN AMRO works hybrid.
With the following results (SMART)
Conduct In dept threat intel based security assessment on IT systems and applications (both on-premise and AWS /SaaS). Using threat intel, targets of evaluation are selected.
Facilitate threat modelling sessions. Present findings to relevant stakeholders. Support application owners with their control self-attestation.
Requirements
Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level
As an information security officer, you play a crucial role in securing our application & infrastructure IT landscape by identifying security risks. You focus on our crown jewels & assets that support critical and important functions. You ensure that security is constantly improving. You contribute to the safety of the bank by securing performing threat intel based security assessments.
Your expertise
• 7+ years of experience in the IT security / application / infrastructure security field
• Information Security (IS) professional qualifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CISA, CISM and CCSK, CCAK
• Background as a penetration tester is plus, the work requires in depth technical security knowledge
• Broad knowledge of different IT and security capabilities and processes
• Experience with performing security assessments
• Stakeholder management skills, especially in a multi-cultural and international environment
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing in English
