Backup & Restore Capability Owner
For the IT infrastructure department (Platform Grid) of ABNAMRO Clearing we are looking for a passionate IT professional to join our Platform Grid/ CFS team as the Capability Owner Backup & restore.The Platform Grid delivers Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Datacenter hosting services, Middleware, Database services, Networks, End User Platforms and diverse outsourced services
Function
Your role will be to own and maintain the Backup & Restore capability, process and IT control over all our platforms and vendors
Act as the main point of contact for the Backup & restore capability to internal and external stakeholders
Establish and maintain IT Standards and Controls applicable for Infrastructure, within the broader IT Control framework,
Enhance standards, processes & procedures, initiate and monitor compliance towards these standards and demonstrate control,
Execute control monitoring and make sure controls are green
Ensure reporting on the performance of the Backup & restore capability is in place and provide management information on these subjects, against established KPI/ KRI’s,
Start up and lead projects and initiatives to improve the capability, currently the Immutable Backup Project is a major initiative which will need your immediate attention,
Organize and administer application- and platform restore tests,
Maintain and improve on the Backup and Restore infrastructure landscape including a virtualized hybrid on-prem cloud environment spanning multiple regions,
Cost & capacity optimization with regards to backup storage and backup policies,
You will be part of the Platform Grid Team in the Netherlands and work directly with Product owners, technical specialists and vendors in NL as well as UK, India and the US.

Up to date IT Control, process and procedures
Quarterly Control checks, get to Green plans and execution
Governance and frequent stakeholder alignment
Deliver an Immutable backup platform & capability
Frequent presentations and reports for Risk committees, C-level (IT-MT),
Requirements
Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level
IT or Business education on HBO or university level
Knowledge of and experience with Backup tooling; Commvault, Public Cloud (AWS) backup tooling, Containers, Databases, Middleware
Immutable backup strategies & solutions
Experience with compliancy and the backup & restore domain, both technical and organizational
Experience as a consultant, writer and presenter.

Onboarding as internal employee in case of satisfactory performance can be discussed
Resource should be located in the Netherlands, not to be relocated from abroad
