Function
KPN is looking for an independent and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer for the AI team within the TDO organization. The candidate will join an international, dynamic team of approximately 15 professionals (Data Scientists and Software Engineers) that implements AI models within KPN’s IT landscape.
The Assignment & Context
Due to the departure of a team member, KPN is seeking a specialist who can step in immediately and contribute effectively. The focus is on developing front-end scenarios for AI-driven routing, with the primary goal of realizing operational savings.
The emphasis of the work lies on the actual implementation of new features. In doing so, you will work intensively with the React framework and ensure the seamless integration of the APIs. Since the candidate is the only one within the team with this specific in-depth knowledge, a high degree of independence is crucial.
Core Responsibilities
• Feature Development: Prioritizing and implementing new features within the front-end (React) and making them accessible via the API. UI/UX Optimization: Expanding the interface, including feedback KPIs, group-based user separation, and contextual help elements.
• Back-end Logic: Refining the back-end logic and API connections with Django (Python).
• Management & Quality: Managing the research environment, strengthening the UI testing framework, and version control via Git.
• AI Implementation: Translating complex models into functional IT solutions that contribute to cost and data savings.
• Building and extending the UI, including new features and improvements.
• Implementing and refining backend logic and APIs using Python.
• Working with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Enhancing the robustness of the UI testing framework.
• Developing and improving feedback KPIs (e.g., thumbs up/down).
• Implementing group-based user separation and general UX/UI improvements.
• Adding contextual information/help elements within the interface.
• Implementing functionality that enables users to save costs and data.
• Working autonomously and handling a wide variety of tasks.
• Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
The Full Stack Developer will primarily work with React and Django. Strong React experience is essential.
Technical expertise:
•Strong, demonstrable experience with React and API integration.
•Solid knowledge of Django (Python) is required.
Tooling:
•Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, and preferably knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and the Gender API.
• Knowledge of CI/CD is an advantage.
Languages:
The working language is English; excellent command of this is necessary.
Personality:
Good communication skills. The candidate must dare to be the sole expert in the team and therefore be able to work very independently.
