Organization

Together with your colleagues in the value chain area and area Murex Production Services you support and continuously improve the Murex platform and its services using an agile way of working. In a constantly changing environment, you play a central role by providing hands-on support to Front Office and Murex Production Services, refining requirements and PBIs, translating them into concrete Murex enhancements, and ultimately implementing them effectively. Additionally, you analyse trends in incidents and requests, identifying structural improvements to enhance system stability, performance, and user experience.
Next to your Murex activities, colleagues in other areas are working on the next phases of the Front-to-Back-to-Risk program This program, aims to replace several existing systems with Murex while you continue to enhance Murex functionality and performance for FX, Bonds & Rates.

Main challenges in your role are todeal with many interests and stakeholders across Rabobanks branches, meeting regulatory requirements, and optimizing costs efficiency whilst keeping solutions robust and simple. With your specialized Murex and financial markets expertise, you help drive enhancements of the Murex platform so it remains a future-proof platform for the business. You align with Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Architecture and Technology stakeholders in your daily work. Through your communication and stakeholder management, these stakeholders gain understanding of each others perspectives and support each other in achieving results.

Function

Do you want to play a key role in enhancing the banks trading capabilities in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment where business meets technology? In this role you will have the opportunity to work with front office teams and technology experts to optimize the Murex platform for trading and processing of FX, Bonds & Rates products.

You and your job:
As a Product Manager you will be a member of the Value Chain Area FX, Bonds & Rates and be part of a team of product owners and product managers who are all working together with their business stakeholders and technology experts to enhance the end-to-end technology stack that supports the value chain. The product manager Murex supports and represents the global users within Front Office on the Murex platform. The role is expected to consider aspects such as business value, regulatory compliance, value chain impact and costs efficiency in the product development. The issues, changes and requests you manage are diverse in nature and follow each other in rapid succession. You are able to keep the total overview, and towards your stakeholders and technology, you clearly present and substantiate your proposals on how to deal with these and guide/support them in realising the related benefits. A handson mentality is key in ensuring that you not only design solutions but also actively drive the implementation across various squads.

Facts & Figures:
– 40 hours per week
– Within the tribe we currently have 6 areas of which your value chain area is one of them.
– The tribe consists of over 50 squads. Accordingly, you need to interact with a subset of these squads
– In addition to Murex – 61 applications are supported by the area FX, Bonds & Rates

– You support and represent business stakeholders and with your Murex expertise provide solutions and set priorities
– You are the go-to partner of Front Office users when it comes to production support and incident troubleshooting. You advise them in an efficient manner with your in-depth Murex knowledge and financial product knowledge
– You collaborate with Murex experts to drive user satisfaction and Murex performance

Requirements

You and your talent
– Understand the Front Office business lines and the underlying front-to-back-to-risk processes
– Have extensive knowledge of the financial markets products (a.o. FX, Bonds & Rates)
– Knowledge of the Murex platform and its Front Office modules is a must
– Have experience with working in an Agile/Scrum IT environment, and Azure DevOps
– Have 1-3 year relevant experience Murex
– Meticulous, and can navigate comfortably under pressure
– A customer focus, with the curious mindset to find and resolve root causes of issues to structurally improve the customer experience
– Have very good communication and analytical skills
– Are able to manage different interests of your senior and expert stakeholders
– Are able to switch between all stakeholders and facets, from business, end-users, management, compliance, IT and team to product, market, organization and own ideas
– Are result-oriented, you have an intrinsic motivation to improve and realise results, you plan deliverables ahead know how to make progress transparent
– Are fluent in written and spoken English
