Function
As an technical architect you:
Designing and integrating VCF based platforms, network, storage, compute and its integration.
Share your expertise in Network and Integration from NSX-T to CISCO ACI and WMware based network constructs (FW/LB/etc) so we can create a more T-shape Agile team, thus helping ABNAMRO a step forward in new technologies
We are looking for a Senior VMware Cloud Foundation Architect who can design and integrate large-scale VCF solutions across compute, storage, and networking platforms. You will work both at the department architecture level and at the project structure level, ensuring that designs are compliant with ABN AMRO standards and suitable for production rollout.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and integration of VMware Cloud Foundation across platforms.
Architect solutions with built-in Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities.
Work with and guide teams using NSX-T and Cisco ACI (mandatory).
Will make architecture documentation following ABN AMRO standards.
Collaborate with domain architects and project teams on major initiatives.
Contribute to the delivery of the new third data center, including:
Migrating all applications
Replicating almost all hardware and software
Ensuring synchronization across all data centers
With the following results (SMART)
At the end of the assignment the hosting platform should be:
•Designed and implemented using the latest VMware technologies
•Have its Network and base constructs designed and implemented
•All designs documented as per ABN AMRO standards
Requirements
Experienced (Senior) IT-Architect with knowledge of :
-10+ years of IT experience in infrastructure/architecture roles
– VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
– design & integrate VCF based platforms, network, storage, compute and integrate.
– NSX-T to CISCO ACI and WMware based network constructs (FW/LB/etc)
– share knowledge to T-shape Agile team
– design DR capabilities across data centres appreciated.
– stakeholder mngt, communications skills, knowledge transfer, create technical documentation
