Operationalising our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) software.
We want to ingest documents more intelligently. To do this, we need someone who is a project manager and a business analyst.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with Business Analyst experience to support the implementation and operationalisation of our Doc to Data (Intelligent Document Processing – IDP) product.
The product focuses on intelligently ingesting documents and extracting relevant data from them. The technical implementation and data extraction are handled by the IT engineers. The main responsibility of this role is to identify the document processing needs across the organisation, translate business requirements into clear IT requirements, and coordinate with the relevant IT teams to ensure the product meets their needs.
The candidate will work within a dedicated DevOps team, alongside IT developers and a product owner, while collaborating with the wider mortgages IT organisation.
Activities
Requirements gathering: Engage with the 16 other DevOps teams within the mortgages division to understand their needs, identify the types of documents they process, and determine what information needs to be extracted.
Business analysis: Translate business needs and stakeholder requests into clear, structured requirements that IT engineers can understand and implement.
Stakeholder management: Proactively contact stakeholders, arrange calls and meetings, gather input, and follow up with teams to ensure requirements are delivered on time.
Project coordination: Organise and structure the collected requirements, manage priorities, and coordinate activities to keep the initiative progressing.
Prioritisation: Identify common needs, group similar document types into logical work packages, and determine which documents and requirements should be prioritised.
Roadmap development: Consolidate the requirements from the different IT teams into a prioritised roadmap for the Doc to Data product.
Collaboration with DevOps teams: Work closely with IT engineers and the product owner to ensure that business requirements are understood and can be translated into actionable development work.
Independent ownership: Take ownership of the process, drive stakeholder engagement, and proactively chase outstanding input without requiring close day-to-day supervision.
Expected results (SMART)
Within the initial six-month period, the candidate is expected to deliver the following:
Stakeholder assessment: Have engaged with all relevant DevOps teams across the mortgages division and documented their document processing needs.
Requirements documentation: Provide a clear overview of the document types, data extraction requirements, and business needs identified across the teams.
Prioritised work packages: Group requirements into logical categories and establish priorities based on business needs and relevance.
Product roadmap: Translate the collected requirements into a structured, prioritised roadmap for the Doc to Data product.
Operationalisation: Help drive the implementation and operational use of the IDP solution by ensuring the product’s development is aligned with the identified business requirements.
The assignment is initially planned for six months, with the intention to extend for a further six months, depending on project needs and progress.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Business Developer, or in a similar role.
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in an IT environment and a good understanding of how DevOps teams operate.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to approach people, arrange meetings, and proactively gather information.
Ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable IT requirements.
Strong organisational and project coordination skills, including planning, prioritisation, and roadmap development.
A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, works independently, and is not afraid to follow up with stakeholders to obtain the required input.
Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
Nice to have:
Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), document ingestion, or data extraction solutions.
Experience coordinating requirements across multiple IT or DevOps teams.
A deep technical background or hands-on experience with specific IDP software is not required. The technical implementation is the responsibility of the engineers; the focus of this role is on business analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, and requirements coordination.
