What is the best way to make an impact in a digital service organization such as Rabobank with over 8000 engineers worldwide?
• You design the experience of the tooling that enables them to deliver secure and compliant software;
• All employees expect the same thing they experience as consumers: well-designed digital experiences;
• But the IT landscape in a large banking organization is becoming increasingly complex;
• Data is at the core of all processes of the bank and the user experience is key for ensuring how this data is being created and processed;
• We are looking for a senior UX Designer to help us create great user experiences for Rabobank employees around internal Data, Analytics and IT services at scale.
You and your assignment:
• As a senior designer your main responsibility will be in shaping an internal portal to onboard to data & analytics services that involves a vast and complex stakeholder field such as tribe and area leads, product owners, developers and other experts;
• You will improve and structure the portal’s information architecture, define clear navigation and flows aligned with business processes, and design and validate the UX for key user journeys;
• In addition, you will align with other designers to ensure consistent interaction patterns and reusable components within the broader IT landscape to ensure a scalable, intuitive, and high-quality employee experience;
• You will be part of the Agency team within the Design chapter;
• You will be responsible for the design process, work with stakeholders and other designers and researchers in the Enterprise UX team to ensure high-quality designs as outcome;
• Collaboration is the way we work within our passionate and results-oriented design team, and as part of the Rabobank Chapter Design of about 100 designers with a wide range of skills and backgrounds.
Requirements
You and your talent:
• You have 5-10 years of experience as a UX Designer;
• You are a strategic and analytical thinker, who can translate complex problems into simple and intuitive solutions;
• You are used to working on complex user journeys;
• You enjoy the challenge of coming up with creative and impactful solutions within a complex data & IT landscape;
• You are able to maintain a user-centered mindset in a very technology-driven environment, challenging pre-established assumptions without alienating your stakeholders;
• You conveniently manoeuvre in a large organisation and know how to get support for your ideas and concepts from stakeholders;
• You are fluent with design and prototyping tools like Figma and familiar with service design methods, including creative facilitation;
• You have proven experience in successfully managing complex design projects;
• You have excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Dutch is considered a strong advantage.
