In this role, you will help safeguard our information assets, strengthen data-driven decision making, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to fraud, anti-money laundering (AML), data protection and internal security standards.<\/p> <p>This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to security.<\/p> <p>As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with business leaders, data owners, security teams, risk management, compliance, and technology specialists to identify risks, implement controls, and drive a secure and compliant data environment.<\/p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><br>* Advise stakeholders on Data Governance and secure Data Management best practices.<br>* Assess and mitigate security risks associated with AI and emerging technologies.<br>* Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.<br>* Support fraud detection, fraud prevention, and investigation activities from a security perspective.<br>* Conduct security assessments regarding data usage, data quality, and data protection.<br>* Collaborate with tech teams to establish secure and compliant data processes.<br>* Perform security reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.<br>* Advise management on strategic security and data-related risks.<\/p><\/div>\n\r\n<h4 class=\"cx_h4 cx2_requirements\">Requirements<\/h4>\n<div class=\"cx2_requirements\"><p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><br>* Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Data Management, Risk Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.<br>* Minimum 5 years of experience in security, risk, compliance, or data governance roles.<br>* Strong knowledge of:<br>&nbsp; * Data Governance frameworks.<br>&nbsp; * Data Management principles.<br>&nbsp; * Information Security and Cyber Security.<br>&nbsp; * Artificial Intelligence governance and risk management.<br>&nbsp; * Fraud prevention and fraud investigation.<br>&nbsp; * Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.<br>&nbsp; * Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.<br>&nbsp; * Data privacy regulations (GDPR).<br>* Experience performing risk assessments and compliance reviews.<br>* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.<\/p> <p><strong>Personal Characteristics:<\/strong><br>* No-nonsense mindset: pragmatic, direct, and focused on achieving meaningful security outcomes.<br>* Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger business picture.<br>* Confident in challenging stakeholders when security risks are not adequately addressed.<br>* Professional, resilient, and capable of handling complex discussions.<br>* Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities effectively.<br>* Collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability.<\/p> <p><strong>Preferred Certifications:<\/strong><br>* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CDMP, CISA or similar.<br>* Experience with AI risk management frameworks.<br>* Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services,
